Could the effect be the cause to something new? ....Yes it could Where does it start and where will it end? ....This is like asking: the chicken & the egg, which one comes first. It must have started before or after our lifetime. We could do not comprehend this answer during one lifetime. True, the chance that you might (not will) be smart if you study is high....If one doesn't possess goodness/skill/gift/talent, regardless how hard one tries to be smart or something else, one would never be. Not all things happen by chance. They happen due to causes and effects. And, many of these causes and effects do not happen only in our lifetime but carried over from our past lives. This is one of the reason for buddhist teaching called reincarnation ("LUAN HOI, NHIEP"). |
