Dear CVM and ATLAS: Thank you for your suggestions. In the past few days, we have conducted a detailed analysis of the solution you have presented regarding a second board for those wishing to discuss subjects other than the study of Buddhism. However, after much deliberation, we have decided against doing that. Our reasons are below: 1) We originally made this message board available in 1999 to provide a forum for those serious in their study of the Buddhist religion. Our goal remains the same, even if the board had deteriorated. 2) We do not wish to provide a second board for discussions other than the study of Buddhism. Even though some posters currently has no respect for us or others who wish to visit this board to further their study of the Buddhist religion, we will not be manipulated. We are currently working on solutions to combat this situation. We have repeatedly implored and asked posters to confine their discussions to subjects concerning the study of Buddhism. We wish to thank you and many other posters who have repeatedly tried to reinforce this message in the forum. We appreciate any assistance or leadership that you provide in the forum so that we all have a good place to share and further our knowledge and study of the Buddhist religion. Posters, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We appreciate your contributions and will gladly check into any suggestions or comments that you have.
