Minh Pha'p, your explanation is very good. I have been reading some Buddhist texts lately, but still haven't figured out for myself whether Amitabha Buddha is really a savior. According to one of the text that I've read, if we pray to this Buddha, then he can save us (reborn in a Western Paradise.) But according to some different ones, for example, Prajna Paramita Heart Sutra or Lankavatara, then Gia'c Ngo^. is a tranformation of the mind (realizing emptiness, Ngu~ Ua^n Giai Kho^ng DDo^. Nha^'t The^' Kho^? A'ch.) Please explain to me, any knowledgeable people out there, how can I realize emptiness by praying to Amitabha Buddha. Thank you very much. |
