I believe Buddha is the only person who is enlightened so I need you to let me know someone else besides the Buddha before I try. I trust the Buddha because he taught the Dharma after he proved that it worked. If the Buddha is the only person who found enlightenment, then we shouldn't use his method. Friend PTDT, you should get some rest. Your brain is over worked. The Buddha said that he taught the path for our benefit. And he said that the path would lead to the end of suffering. Why would the Buddha teach the path or said any of these things if he thought that only he could end suffering? Don't follow the path if you don't want to. No one is forcing you. Seeing the effects that reading the sutras have on your ability to think logically, it is probably better that you do not follow the path. I wish you the best of luck in finding the living Buddha. He who sees the Buddha sees the dharma, and he who sees the dharma sees the Buddha. Haha . . . |
