If it was your wife's oldest sister who passed away, no, you shouldn't wear khan tang because your parents are still alive. I think we wear khan tang for older siblings only if the parents were deceased. Especially, in this case, it was your wife's sibling. You would wear it if were your parents-in-law's funeral. So, I can see how you would get yelled at. The person who distributed khan tang should know this. Sorry. |
