You are right! Not only we should wear KHAN TANG for our own parents & parents-in-law, but also, in certain cases, if we have respect and love for some elderly persons who are not our relatives, we also could ask the permission of our parents (If they are alive) for wearing Khan tang to express our love and respect to those non-relatives. Nowadays, many superstitious Vietnamese avoid wearing KHAN TANG to avoid unluck, especially businessmen. Some just wear till the 3 days MO CUA MA. It is too bad! Atlas |
