Yes, you should wear "Khang Tang" to pay respect for your own elder member of the family. No, it is not appropriate (customary) for you to wear it for your in-law family members. Although there are rare occasions in which ok for you to wear it for the parents-in-law. Given that the relationship between you and the parents-in-law are closed. Or your spouse is the only child and he/she has previously passed away. Thus, now you should (not required to) take your spouse's place in pay respect to his/her parents. |
